Wow! I agree with everything both of you say! I was just recently thinking about what great villains TOS Klingons were, and wondering why they ever changed them. Also wonder why they did that to the Vulcans in Enterprise (and in the new movie, too).

I really enjoy these TWIST videos! Your son is really cute and reminds me of me when i was young. Great choice in choosing Vulcans as your favorite Star Trek alien race! Happy Birthday! One thing I have to say in Enterprise's favor - it ended strong with that very good last season (except for the execrable finale) - and that's more than I can say for Voyager, which I personally found to be seven years of bland mush. A poor man's impression of TNG (much like TNG's Nemesis was a poor man's impression of The Wrath of Khan, but that's a different discussion ...) If I had to choose between watching Voyager and watching nothing, I'd rather watch nothing.

But without that last Manny Coto produced season, Enterprise and Voyager would both be the same big pile of blah for me.

Yeah, I'm not ashamed to admit that I'll take essentially anything in the other Treks over Enterprise. Enterprise just seemed so... well, I'm sure I don't need to go into specifics. You already know. :P (And I'm in full agreement about the TOS Klingons verses the ridged-forehead!Klingons. I know it was a matter of make-up capabilities and budget and whatnot, but it just seemed like such a sudden change between TOS and TNG. Plus, yes, their differences in motivation and "personality," if you will.)

You're doing a fine job raisin' that boy, keeping him away from those Enterprise Vulcans. They are bad, bad role models. And I wasn't crazy about their wigs either. Apparently nobody's willing to get their hair cut in Hollywood these days.
